Ornamental plasterwork

Everything we fit is hand made by our own craftsmen at the Wheatley factory and workshops, our installations team then provide comprehensive fitting services ensuring a perfect finish for a beautifully made item.

Reproduction, matching and plasterware repairs
We have considerable experience in heritage, historical and listed buildings works, varying from minor reparations to complete refurbishments. One of our specialities is in tracing classic traditional moulds or bespoke crafting the full range of ornamental products to perfectly match cornices, panels and ceilings already in place.

Traditional lime plastering
Lime plaster is a truly ancient building material well known for it’s long lasting resilience; it was used in the Egyptian Pyramids and the Great Wall of China, but the oldest example of it was found in Middle Eastern statues from almost 10,000 years ago! Made from limestone, sand and water lime plaster is an exceptional material our team are highly expert at applying, we carry out all insurance work and are a Norwich Union/ Aviva approved contractor. The lime plastering service is comprehensive including removal of old wall and ceiling render, re-lathing with oak or pine riven lathes then a three coat lime putty, sand, and hair mix to lime finish.
